This service includes the narration of scientific/medical journals, posters, books, or chapters in addition to voice-over work for scientific or medical videos. Whether your text/script involves the intricacies of the human body, or delves extensively into niche biochemical pathways, we are ready to bring an inviting, informational read.
How it Works
Provide the Script
Submit your journal, chapter, poster, script and any information regarding specific requests for your narration! A, "Narration Request Form" is provided to help with your selection. If you are unsure of how your content will sound with various reads, a single $10 test-reel can be provided that will include up to 5 minutes of content. A 1-week turn-around-time is anticipated for preliminary recordings, although expedited recording is available
Preliminary Recording
The client will be sent an MP3 (or other format by request) of the narration within two weeks of order submission date. The client then has two weeks to request any redo's of the narration. 15 minutes of redos/edits are included in original pricing. A 48h-72h turn-around-time for redo completion is anticipated. Please note that any potential redo requests due to any technical errors (ie. sound quality, background noise, etc) are not subject to fees, and do not count towards the total 15 minutes of redo's/edits included in total pricing.
Final Recording
The finalized recording will be emailed to the client! Beck's Reads will maintain a copy of all finished narrations for up to 6 months after sending, however, the original files will be deleted after that time.
